She leaked personal identifying information (including a signature) from a customer at the bar where she worked, made a false accusation and then backed out by claiming she wasn’t culpable because she was “blinded by rage.”
In other words, she’s a sociopath. She does not care about the consequences of her actions.
We still don’t know whether the reason she got a nasty note and no tip was (a) because the patron was a “douche” or (b) because Liss was a self-centered, vindictive, nasty, mean and bigoted sociopath, as we now come to suspect has always been the case.
One newspaper did a little more digging and found out that her behavior truly is mentally unstable:
Well, turns out that this isn’t the first time that Ms. Liss has had experience accusing the wrong person of something awful.
In September 2007, Matthew Oly and Bryan Krieger were arrested and charged with felony harassment after Liss and a friend of hers, Marcus Wilson, identified them as having threatened to kill Wilson.
But six months later it became clear that Liss and co. weren’t actually too sure that they had the right guys. – Seattle Weekly
False accusations get people thrown in jail and lives ruined. They are like guns: point and shoot in the wrong way, and you have made an error that no one can fix.
While most of America was distracted with pity for an actual murderer, Troy Davis, in Seattle an incompetent bartender named Victoria Liss was busy trying to ruin a man’s life.
I don’t support the vindictive, lynch mob, victim mentality side of MRA, but I think in this case, we should use Victoria Liss as a talking point. Why isn’t she in jail?
- This is her second damaging false accusation.
- She released confidential customer information including a signature.
- Her accusation was groundless in that we don’t know if she deserved a tip.
The point of this article is not to say “run Victoria Liss up the nearest flagpole,” but instead to say that we should remember this case any time an accusation is made.
The next time a bartender accuses a customer of being a douche, stop — and ask these logical questions:
- What was her behavior before the incident? If she was cruel, called him fat, and provided bad service, his response was entirely normal.
- What was her behavior after the incident? Did she talk to a manager about it, or did she enable identity theft by leaking his signature and identifying information to the internet?
- What is her character? Is the a nutty person who makes false accusations randomly, or an upstanding citizen who has only made it to bartender status because she’s working her way through school?
I’m amazed the bar hasn’t been sued yet, but I suspect the case is either pending or has been settled already. The bar is in the wrong here, because their employee leaking this identifying information. That’s a huge no-no.
In the meantime, the Victoria Lisses of this world will continue muddling their way through life, leaving wreckage in their wake.

The person at the center of this incident is Andrew Meyer. The original Andrew Meyer brought all of what’s coming down upon himself.
Victoria Liss had every right to do as she pleased with a personal message written to her on the stationery of the writer’s choosing.
Whether that be a $100 bill, a g-string, or a phone bill, it became her right to do as she pleased with that message. Indeed it was someone else who produced a picture of the wrong Andrew Meyer. And one wonders whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy anyone would single-out some guy who lives in Texas and who hasn’t been to Seattle in years, as any sort of a possible culprit.
Meanwhile, the original Andrew Meyer will be hunted-down and the appropriate price will surely be exacted from his soul.
PS – Victoria Liss’s “behavior” before and after the incident has exactly zero bearing on Andrew Meyer’s misdeeds. His misdeeds are in writing, and easily proved, where hers are just hearsay.
That’s not correct. She does not own that receipt, nor does she own the personal information of that patron. By releasing it, she has wronged both her employer and a customer who had an expectation his privacy rights would be preserved. The fact that she made false accusations in the past, and also has managed to make false identifications since, simply point to her high degree of mental instability.
Misdeed or not, he told the *truth*. More and more women are becoming obese and overweight.
Anyways, what she did was 1,000xs worse than what the patron did, albeit in a rude manner, which was telling the truth.
If I owned a restaurant and found out that a server had released customer information on the internet, I would fire them and sue in order to protect myself. Leaking privileged information is a legal grey area to some degree but one in which many authority figures are starting to take a hard line. The restaurant could be sued and end up losing a lot of money, if not going out of business, for the behavior of this deranged bar waitress.
She is a vile piece of shit: http://goo.gl/f4pXo
She is not in jail because she is a she.
Like waitresses all over the western world, she is too good to serve her customers.
Tips, to her, are a right, not something to be earned.
She is also not in jail because she is – in her context – normal.
This seems to describe all of society’s parasites. Why give back, or even be constructive, when you can demand?
@youarecompletelywrong
You are an idiot.
First, look at the facts we have at hand. This woman is not credible. She has a history of false accusations. Isn’t it entirely reasonable to assume that the basis for her “provocation” is also falsified? Look at that receipt, do you honestly believe that the comment is consistent with the signature? Look at it, the signature style and the comment style are different. Why are you accepting the basic premise from a person proven to have been so seriously wrong on two occasions now?
Also, as a lawyer, I’ll tell you, it doesn’t matter what “message” the writer would have transcribed. There are limitations to what you can say. There are several privacy torts that would cover this matter as well as several statutory ones.
But when it comes down to it, we are discussing the actions of a woman who is perfectly willing to ruin innocent lives over petty insults. If you are siding with her, you have made it pretty clear that you aren’t worthy of serious consideration.
You are simply wrong says
Why don’t you post YOUR home address and phone number on this board and let US do what WE please with it.
I know this is old news but I think it’s important to point out that this waitress is TERRIBLE. Every time i go to the cha cha she is rude and refuses to take orders from people she doesn’t deem hip enough for her time. I’m disgusted by the fact that she hasn’t been fired yet.
Also, there is a whole back story to this that isn’t well known. The man and his girlfriend ordered tacos without beans. When she brought them the wrong order (tacos with beans) he pointed it out. She said to him “you could stand to gain a few pounds”
