The point is women’s mass entry into the workforce doubles the cost of goods and services, not vice-versa. Sellers cannot put a house up for sale at a cost the market cannot bear, or else it will not sell. However, the seller knows that the family moving in will have a wife who has a career. He cannot therefore allow that house to sell at so low a price that the couple moving in become fabulously wealthy. It doesn’t justify any form of discrimination, but is rather a feature of women’s liberation.

Some do. Some don’t. And for some even two is not enough. It depends on the circumstance. It’s quite a stretch to point to a causal between this and laws against discrimination against women in hiring practices.

Perhaps. We do know, however, that costs rise, Say’s law or not. There is no way a house or a family should require dual incomes, as a matter of economic necessity, but they do.

Good article. The goals of feminism and modern liberalism are asymmetric to the deepest desires of 99% of females. Feminism has generally been far more destructive to the lives of women than it has been to those of men.

The only truly content woman I have ever known was my grandmother, who spent her life rearing children and supporting her husband. They had complementary roles which fit their biological imperatives and resulted in a fantastic life together. That’s gone now, and most women are either completely apathetic or crushed, bitter, profoundly sad individuals. There’s nobody more pitiable than modern woman.

Women are children live in their own little worlds, which is good, because that way they are able to nurture and grow.

Men have to deal with reality.

Only an asshole thinks women should, but the flip side of that is that women require men to look out for them. They were better off married than they are single.

They only find this out as they age and die however.
